PELICAN¶

Propagation Engine and List Interpreter for Complex AuralizatioN

PELICAN is the application that that runs the geometrical acoustics propagation models based on given propagation paths, for example determined by PIGEON.

A more sophisticated interface for PELICAN is provided by the EGRET package and pynamic package. It also includes a more in-depth documentation for running simulations with PELICAN and PIGEON. Thus it is recommended to use PELICAN via EGRET, unless you want to run your own custom simulations.
